January Studio Night Cancelled

With the limited response we’ve received on the upcoming January 16 Studio Night, we’ve decided it’s best to wait and try again in February.  As such the January 16th, 2014 Studio Night is cancelled.   As soon as we can confirm the intended February date with the Arts Center, we’ll make an announcement.

Studio Night – January 16, 2014

Weigold Photography is pleased to be working with the Middletown Arts Center to present our next Studio Night!   This event will be held at the Arts Center on Thursday January 16, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm and will allow photographers of all skill levels an opportunity to work with studio lighting and posing!   Weigold Photography will be providing the studio lighting equipment and Chief Photographer and Arts Center instructor Steve Weigold will be on hand to set up the lighting and providing coaching on it’s use and interaction with the model.    A dedicated model (or models) will be provided for the event.

The cost to participate in Studio Night is $10 per photographer.  All proceeds from the event benefit the Arts Center.

For a quick summary and registration, please click here.   For more details on the event, please read on:

Our model will come prepared with multiple “looks” and each photographer will take turns working with the model for a number of shots.   Once each photographer has had a chance to photograph each “look”, the model will change.    After the event, within two weeks, each photographer is expected to provide a disk of images to the Art Center to be given to the model for use in her portfolio.  Photographers will have permission to use their images for portfolio use as well.  No commercial use of the images is permitted by any participating party.  A “trade” agreement is expected to be signed by all participants.  The event is limited to a maximum of 20 photographers to ensure sufficient time for participation.

In order to ensure sufficient help and space, RSVP is requested but optional.  Walk in participants up to the event limit will be accepted.  Again, all photography skill levels are welcome.  Photographers should ensure that their camera has a hot shoe or PC connector to trigger the flash equipment.   Triggers, cables, flashes and other lighting accessories will be provided.  If you have questions on the event, you can reach us at sales@weigoldphotography.com.    To RSVP and pre-register for the event, please use the button below to pay the $10 participation fee.   We look forward to seeing you at Studio Night!

Studio Night Images – November 21, 2013

This past Thursday’s Studio Night at the Middletown Arts Center was probably our best yet!  The model we originally had scheduled failed to confirm, but fortunately returning model Kenzie was ready and able to help out.   We welcomed some returning photographers and were also pleased to welcome some new comers, at least to Studio Night, from the West Chester Photo Club!  Thank you to everyone that participated!  Watch for our next studio night coming in January 2014.  Here’s some sample shots and a behind the scenes look at the event:
