Weigold Photography has experienced photographers available to help you learn! We offer both organized scheduled courses as well as one on one instruction customized to your specific needs.
For children and parents we offer the course “Digital Photography for Kids” in conjunction with the Middletown Art Center. Please look for our postings under the “Instruction” category for more information on course dates and times.
For prospective students interested in more personal instruction we offer private instruction with topics such as:
- Buying your new camera
- Digital SLR
- Film SLR
- Digital PAS (Point and Shoot) – learn how to really use that new camera!
- Action photography
- Studio Lighting
- Composition
- Theory
We happily accomodate skill levels from novice on up. Private instruction rates are $50 per session of varied length up to two hours and $25 per hour beyond the first two hours. Bring your friends! Multiple students in the same session receive a 30% discount on fees!
If a scheduled class with a definitive syllabus and a number of other students is more your speed, Weigold Photography offers a number of scheduled courses in basic and advanced digital photography. Regularly scheduled classes meet once a week for 1 1/2 hours for either a four week or six week term. Prices for regularly scheduled classes are $50 per student for 4 wk term classes and $75 per student for 6wk term classes. Four students minimum required for regularly scheduled classes.
