Video Tape Conversions
Weigold Photography currently supports VHS, Betamax, Video 8 and Digital 8 video tapes. Support for Hi8 tapes is coming soon! We offer two different types of conversions to support your requirements:
Simple conversions $18 – basic conversion of tape to DVD. Resulting DVD plays when inserted in DVD player and plays all the way through. No menus or chapters. Includes one DVD
Complex conversions $25 – conversion of tape to DVD. Includes chapters for transitions between video segments and starting menu to select chapters. Includes one DVD
Additional copies of DVDs $10.
Price is per DVD which holds about 1:30 to 1:45 of video. Multiple tapes with shorter video segments may be combined into one DVD.
Film Conversions
Weigold Photography currently supports 8mm and Super 8mm film. Support for larger films coming soon.
Film conversions are $10 plus $0.20 per ft of film per DVD. Multiple rolls may be combined to fill one DVD. The resulting DVD will include chapters and menus as in the complex conversion above. Includes one DVD.
Additional copies of DVDs $10.

Weigold Photography archives all digital conversions indefinitely! Damaged your Weigold Photography conversion? Need another copy for a family member? We can retrieve your conversion from our archives and make a new disk for you.
